Have you visited the shop lately? If so you may have noticed that there are a few new things, specifically sterling silver in a black finish. Safe to say I’m kinda sorta really obsessed with turning sterling silver into black. I am especially obsessed with the sterling silver black in earrings and the earcuffs, as my ears are very sensitive. The black finish doesn’t produce any sensitivity at all, which is awesome. It’s like now I can take my all black outfits to the next level…So thugggggg. I just want to make everything black. Like my heart.

 

YOUR HEINA IS BACK

Finally back from the land of no social media. Totally exhausted since the morning right after I returned I went on a 6 hour hike to the Griffith Observatory with my pals! My body is in so much pain………The photo above is of me this morning, totally jet lagged and tired. Just don’t know what to do with myself. Alas I have lots of orders to catch up on and mail out so fear not my dear patrons, I haven’t forgotten about you! Orders will start mailing out tomorrow. I also started working on new earrings and hand pieces so chickity-check back soon.

Long time no blog! I think I stopped because I kept changing the layout of the site, and the actual blog writing became secondary. So here I am in an effort to revive it, but more like I am writing because I do have some news and shiet:

1) Hex Nail Jewelry’s Gangsta’s Paradise collection

Yours truly gave the girls at Hex Nail Jewelry some rings to play around with for their brand new website. They included my rings in their Gangsta’s Paradise. Cue the Coolio song.

The “Classy” and “Bitch” ones on my mani are also by Hex. The studs I forgot where I bought but you can find similar ones here.

This is what I’ve been hard at work making! These 2 lovelies above are now available in the shop. Both are 100% sterling silver and 100% foiiiiine.

 

3) Guang-to-the-zhou

Last but not least…As I usually do every 6 months, my day job as a product developer/footwear designer is taking me away to Guangzhou, China. So I will be without FB, Twitter, and blogs for 10 days.  Pooh. If you need to reach me I can answer through Etsy or email sene_sense@yahoo.com. All orders placed between April 16th through April 26th will be processed upon my return to the good ol’  USA. I apologize for any inconvenience!

So what will I do in Guangzhou after my work days, when I am all alone and without the instant gratification of social media? Probably brain storm ideas for my new alter-ego, Mandible the rapper aka Chief Teef. I don’t know. Don’t ask. Just listen.

beanie from Santee Alley; Ear cuff by Catbird; Senesense earrings (coming soon!)

Today’s accessories of choice – a plain black beanie, my Catbird ear cuff, and the first samples of our brand new stud earrings. Small but not too small, just enough to peek through your hair and make you feel like a badass. These lil’ thugs are made in downtown L.A which makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I’m thinking sterling silver, 14k gold, and maybe rose gold?
